Midnight, Equestria

Midnight, Equestria is an online adult (18+) multiplayer RPG in the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic universe, built from the foundation of the now-concluded HellMOO.

Taking place in a persistent region shared with players and handcrafted NPCs going about their own schedule and lives, Midnight, Equestria enables you to interact with the setting through your own ideal pony, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, and abilities. Utilizing 18 improvable skills and 6 characteristic-defining stats, earn bits through daily jobs at different venues, rent an apartment or house to furnish and invite your friends to, or invest in crafting and research supplies to hone your skills and create powerful items.

Players may start their journey as a foal or as a fully-grown pony, and pick between Earth Pony, Unicorn, or Pegasus. Each has different benefits and leans towards a certain playstyle, but none of them determine what you can grow proficient in. Those who wish to focus on non-combat skills will find a variety of jobs and means of crafting, but ponies who fancy themselves fighters will find reward in the deeper, more dangerous reaches of the world.

Midnight, Equestria is an open-ended experience. Live as your ideal pony, make friends, and follow your dreams.

Jobs, Skills, and Memories

Make your way in Midnight by completing daily jobs that compliment your pony's strengths.  Available jobs range from library assistant, to coffee barista, mailpony, farmhoof, lamplighter, or even town watch. Collect or grow your own herbs or fruit to sell, make delicious gourmet food, craft intricate potions or enchant dangerous horseshoe weapons. As you progress in skill, more options become available - Everypony has a niche, what's yours?

Twenty-one unique skills define your pony. Test your mettle with hoof-fighting, small weapons or polearms. Practice magic or alchemy and unlock beneficial (if unpredictable!) spells and effects. Research new crafting recipes with booksmarts, or learn how to better get along with others with friendship. Work your wings and muscles with athletics, learn spells with magic, or even get some peace and quiet with fishing.

Memories are defining characteristics of your pony. As you progress in experience, you are able to remember new things about yourself - Are you quick-hoofed, and able to run faster and longer than most? Do you have an affiliation for swaying animals? Perhaps you've got a temper on you, and can go buckwild in a fight. Maybe, just maybe, you were a batpony or changeling all along, and you have different needs than most ponies...

Setting

Nestled far into the depths of the Willowreach Forest, Midnight is a town under the eternal shroud of Nightmare Moon's darkness. The sunlight has been choked out for as long as anypony can remember, and if asked, none are quite sure who the reigning princess is. By lantern and glowfly, the ponies of Midnight have adapted, and daily life has continued on.

But there is that itch in the back of everypony's mind. What exactly lies beyond the forest? Why have apparitions begun to appear so often? And what are those strange  castles that have popped up so deep in the wilderness?

18+ Content

Midnight, Equestria keeps a PG-13 tone, but due to suggestive themes and drug use, is an 18+ game.  All players are required to be 18 years of age or older.

How to play?

Midnight, Equestria is currently on Open Beta. This means that some things are unfinished, and bugs may be abound - But it is in a playable state that is currently seeking players and feedback!
